* Despite several injuries, John Toshack scored 95 goals for Liverpool, putting him 16th in the club's all-time top scorers list.
** Using a squad that was comprised partly of Liverpool players who were comig to the end of their careers, Toshack took Swansea from Division 4 to Division 1 in four seasons.
Toshack was Liverpool's top scorer in '72, '73, '75 and '76. Though possibly better known today as a manager, his symbiotic relationship with Kevin Keegan and their unmatched strike partnership, marks him as one of the true liegends of Liverpool Football Club.
