Deportivo Coruna are on the verge of signing 19-year-old Spanish defender Antonio Barragan from Liverpool, according to club president Augusto Cesar Lendoiro.

"All that remains for the move to be completed is for the documents to be signed,"
Lendoiro was quoted as saying on the Deportivo website on Monday.
Spanish media reported that the right back, who was born in Galician region where Deportivo are based, would sign a five-year deal with the club.
Barragan joined Liverpool from Sevilla in July 2005 after rejecting the chance to sign a professional contract with the Andalucians.
His only appearance for Liverpool came as a substitute in their Champions League third round qualifier against CSKA Sofia in Bulgaria last August.
He is part of the Spanish squad for the European Under-19 championship which gets underway in Poland later this week.
