REDS BOSS RAFA SEALS A FAB DEAL


LIVERPOOL have completed the signing of Brazilian defender Fabio Aurelio from manager Rafa Benitez's former club Valencia.

The 26-year-old has signed a four-year contract and is expected to start preseason training this week. Aurelio, a free transfer, is a left-sided defender who can also play at wing-back.

Carlisle United manager Neil McDonald has made Liverpool defender David Raven his first signing since being named Paul Simpson's successor as manager at Brunton Park.

The 21-year-old has penned a two-year contract with the club after making four appearances for the Reds.
