Surprise England selection, Theo Walcott (17) of Arsenal has been arrested by the German Police and charged with wreckless endangerment after mounting the curb near England's camp in Baden-Baden, Germany.

Citing 'over-zealous persecution on the part of the authorities', Walcott (14) claimed that 'armed officers 'victimised' and 'taunted' him as he went for a short ride during a break in training.

"They letted me go and said I could go but I was too scared and so I nearly cried"

Claimed Theo (8), suggesting that while there was no physical harm, the damage was more psychological in nature and may affect England's strict training and diet regime before the crucial quarter final game against Portugal.

"I was going to have sausages for my tea, so I went to go to the England house as fast as I could because I like sausages" admitted the young star, "a big man sayed to me to do something and so I didn't because he said some words I don't know and mummy said to not to talk to strangers. Then some more men said to stop so I did because I nearly falled down."

Sven Goran-Erickson, the England manager revealed in a press conference that Theo Walcott (6) was a "good boy" who always listened to him.

"I'm frankly amazed at this, here we are preparing for a crucial match when everything needs to run smoothly and this happens. I'm amazed! Theo knows that we have sausages on Tuesdays."

Theo's mum was unavailable for comment but is said to be "very cross".
