FOOTBALL star Jerzy Dudek’s stolen car has been found by police — but his Champions League medal and other treasures are still missing.
The Liverpool goalkeeper’s £65,000 black Porsche Carrera was recovered yesterday in the Manchester area.
We mentioned 2 days ago how Dudek was devastated after burglars nicked the medal he won when Liverpool beat AC Milan in last year’s European Cup final.
The £100,000 haul from the raid at his home in Caldy, Wirral, also included other footie medals, watches and a collection of 100 match shirts. One watch was a £6,000 Franck Muller model engraved “Champions League Winner”.
A gang struck while Dudek was on holiday in his native Poland last week. He discovered the house had been ransacked and his car taken when he returned.
Dudek was especially proud of his Champions League medal because of 'those saves' which helped Liverpool to victory.
