Liverpool have no interest in signing Real Zaragoza midfielder Alberto Zapater, according to the players agent.
He said:
"What I and what he wants is to continue negotiating.
Zapater wants to remain and we are not listening to any offers. I have an order from the player to not speak with other clubs.
All the talk saying that we are waiting for Liverpool or Valencia is false. I repeat that Alberto wants to remain and that he is wishing to reach an agreement.
The player has not asked for anything that he does not deserve."
There was some unqualified speculation that he may go to Arsenal.
