Well it looks like the FA Cup dress rehearsal went well and puts us within three points of Man You, though its a bit of a false picture as we need to win our last two games, with the Scum dropping their last three (they've got us on goal difference - see below).

2 nice goals from Cisse - his 16th & 17th of the season. Both memorable as much for the passes that set them up as for the goals themselves. Good digging from Mohammed Sissoko for the first and a glorious through ball from Robbie Fowler for the second. Click here to see the goals on You Tube. It has to be said that Walker, in the West Hamgoal should have got a hand to both - but who's complaining?


The Sendings Off

It has to be said that Howard Webb had no option but to send them off, but its a pity that Luis Garica's season had to end that way (3 match ban). It has to be said that we'll miss him more than West Ham will miss Mullins in the Cardiff, but I can't help being angry atthe pointlessness of it. OK, so Garcia's an emotional man, but he's also a professional who should understand the repercussions of such an act.

"It's not easy for the referee. The two players apologised to each other, it's not a serious incident, and in Spain you have the possibility of reducing a three-match ban to two instead. That is enough.

The Final


West Ham didn't lie down last night and they'll definitely bring the game to us in May 13th. Sherringham's still dangerous and Bobby Zamora has done a great job for them all season.
Having said that, on paper we're the obvious favorites, which scares me a bit. In recent years, when it comes to the big day, we've thrived on being the underdog, so I really don't know what to think at the moment.
